The teachings of Transformational Bodywork revolve around a simple premise: We are spiritual beings having a human experience on Earth. The ideal candidate for this style of healing bodywork is someone who resonates with the understanding that healing experiences invite themselves into our lives as touchstones to higher-self learning. A Transformational Bodyworker is a skilled practitioner who is comfortable exploring the questions: “ why am I feeling this way? “ and “ what is the deeper meaning of this experience? “. Someone who has embraced their own suffering and transcends it enough to know deeply the qualities of compassion, humor, gratitude and humility is essentially capable of facilitating another person on the path of metaphorical dying in order to truly come alive.
This seven level professional training program in depth-healing and personal transformation embraces a curriculum that invites mature practitioners in the healing arts, psychotherapy, spiritual disciplines and the bodywork fields to consider a career in certificated Transformational Bodywork(sm).
Education specific to the breath, musculature, cellular memory, biological defense mechanisms and the nature of armament is explored in relationship to free will, the karmic agenda and the journey of the self into love and freedom.
Prerequisites for participation in
Transformational Bodywork Seminars
are three-fold:

TOB-Network is a professional organization that is committed to the exploration of the professional relationship of the client and the practitioner, where the practitioner is a facilitator for the client, whose growth and transformation lies in his/her personal empowerment. The seminar series cultivates perspectives and pragmatic interventions that are designed to offer both an organic discovering to human problems and a grounded approach to integrating into daily life the healing understandings gained through the work.
All instruction occurs in groups of 8 to 12 participants, is taught in residential retreat, often videotaped and is designed to meet the needs and requirements of each individual student. For example, if a person has years of bodywork experience but no meditation practice they would design a different program than an individual who has had extensive background as a psychotherapist with a minimum of hands-on training in touch modalities.
